The OI Society of Australia relies on the generosity of our members and supporters through their donations and membership fees to help fund research, provide and support medically verified information on OI to professionals, parents, caregivers and people living with OI. Develop new resources, expand support groups and increase public and professional awareness about OI. Provide opportunities for people with OI to connect through the website and our National Conference.

Your membership to the OI Society of Australia entitles you to: –

Membership is for one year commencing on the date payment is received and and expiring on the last day of that month, one year later.

Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a genetic disorder that causes a person's bones to break easily, often from little or no apparent trauma. OI is also called "brittle bone disease." OI varies in severity from person to person, ranging from a mild type to a severe type that causes death before or shortly after birth.
