The OI Society of Australia is primarily a support group for persons with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. In addition to being a support group, we are committed to encouraging and supporting research into this rare connective tissue disorder. We also provide education to the wider community and increase awareness of Osteogenesis Imperfecta to both the general public and professionals.
The Gregory and Dolores Farrell Scholarships, which are administered by Northcott, are offering to assist students with a physical disability and who use a wheelchair for mobility with the costs of undertaking university studies.
Four (4) scholarships, up to the value of $5000.00 each are available for 2013 to students in New South Wales.
Applications must be lodged by the close of business on 8th February 2013. A copy of the scholarship can be downloaded here as well as the application form here.
